CSR Activity

On 30th May Team Sysmex Software Solutions plunged into icy cold water for 300 seconds to support kiwi kids born with heart conditions. Our team exceeded the target of 00. Thank you for your awesome support and contribution.

Why did we take the plunge?

During surgery a child’s chest cavity can be filled with an icy slush to slow the heart’s need for oxygen, which can help give the surgeon a longer window of operating time. With heart surgeries being performed on tiny hearts every single day, anything that can help these fighters get through their massive challenges is vital.

The Heart Stopper Challenge celebrates these brave children, and aims to spread awareness and provide lifelong support for those who battle congenital heart defects.

Heart Stopper Challenge funds raised will be used to support heart children and their families in local communities across the country.

Our fundraising page is still open.

Together we can help @Heart to provide life long support to the 12 babies born every week in New Zealand with a heart defect
